When your child is sick please remember to abide by school policy & keep them home for at least 24 hours after they are fever-free-without medication.  Also, if they have diarrhea or vomiting, they need to stay home as well.  We do our best to disinfect the room, have the children "catch" their coughs/sneezes, and wash their hands.  One way you can help at home is to make sure your child is not still contagious before sending them back to school.  We urge you to be cautious and use your best judgement if your child is not feeling well (especially with Mrs. Walker being pregnant).

Don't forget the JDRF Walk is this Saturday!!!!!

Community Homework Project
November 1st - 7th
First grade is studying the community around them (IB Unit: Won't You Be My Neighbor). We would like for each child to explore their community and bring in a project to share. Students should develop this project from the community collections list (sending home on Friday). Your project could be a poster, book, collage, mobile, or any other creative idea that you can come up with. Have fun! This is the only homework for the week. PROJECTS ARE DUE BY NOVEMBER 7TH!
Joyner Jamboree was a blast!
