Dear Parents,

We are always thinking of fun ways for the students to learn while having you in our classroom.  We have decided to have a “mystery reader” this year to read to the students every month.  We will have it once or twice a month depending on how many people want to be involved.  The mystery reader will pick their book(s) of choice to bring and read to the class.  Parents are more than welcome to bring in an item that has to do with their book (either as a prop or to share with each student).
The mystery reader will secretly come to the class from 2:05-2:40.  This is right after recess.  The day(s) have not been determined.  Please sign up on the blog if you are interested and we will send you a list of open dates and times.  We would love to get you on the calendar to come read.  When you set your date we ask that you please send an email with “clues” about who you are.  We will read the “clues” to the class so they can guess who they think the mystery reader is.  We look forward to hearing back from everyone!

Thanks!
