3rd Quarter Parent/Teacher Conference Sign-Up
What an amazing day we all had at the annual JYJ Science-Go-Round. The class went to four sessions throughout the day. We started off at Animal World which was all about the different animal groups. The students got to pet a baby mouse, snake, and baby alligator. Next we went to Up, Up, and Away in the gym. The students learned all about the power of air by observing different experiments and demonstrations. After lunch, we all got to go fishing! During this session, the kids learned the importance of being responsible with wildlife and fishing. Everyone learned how to cast, practiced using a stream guide to identify fish, and made fish prints. Lastly, the class learned all about insects and the power of saliva at Bug Spit.
