JY Joyner Healthy Lifestyles 5K Run/Walk

The PTA of JY Joyner Elementary School is proud to announce our 1st 5k run/walk event to be held on Sunday, March 25^th at 3pm on our school campus at 2300 Lowden Street in Raleigh. FS Series will be our race facilitators and we will combine the race with a Health Fair, family picnic and celebration party to end our Healthy Choice Marathon. The Healthy Choice Marathon is 25 days of healthy choices that the students and staff participate in which each day includes 20 minutes of reading, one healthy food choice, and 20 minutes of activity. Each participant receives prizes and recognition to be awarded at our 5k Event.
