If you would like to be a volunteer this year at Joyner or assist in any field trip, we need for you to please register through the electronic volunteer system in our media center. All approved volunteers from the 2011-2012 school year must re-activate no later than October 31st in order to continue as approved volunteers during the 2012-2013 school year.

From October 22 to November 2, JYJ will be selling paper sneakers for $1.00 each and all proceeds will be donated to JDRF to help fund research to find a cure for diabetes.

Our 1st grade field trips have been planned! You may now go online to pay for your child's field trips for the year. We will be visiting Marbles Kids Museum in November (Cost $11.00). We will have an in school field trip with Science Fun for Everyone in March (Cost $9.00) and we will be visiting the North Carolina Zoo in May (Cost $23.00). You may go to http://osp.osmsinc.com/WakeNC/Default.aspx to pay for field trips. We encourage you to pay online and in one lump sum so that your child is covered for field trips for the year. Permission forms will come home closer to the date of the field trips. Thank you!
Beginning next week we will need volunteers to help out with centers! We would like to have one parent every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:20 - 10:30. Please click on the link below to sign-up to volunteer during the month of October.
